Important Dates to remember:
Wednesday, June 25th Graduation Rehearsal from 3-4pm in the HS Orchestra Room
Please arrive at 11:30am on Saturday, June 28th at HS Orchestra Room. We will be finished with graduation at aprx. 4:30pm. 

Congratulations!
Wow! The Orchestra has had a busy month. I would like to first say how proud I was of our Performances at Six Flags New England!! Each ensemble 6-12th grade performed excellently! Our 6th Grade Orchestra came home with 1st place, 7th/8th Grade Orchestra received 2nd place, Select Orchestra received 3rd place and the HS Orchestra received 4th place. It was not only a great performance, but a fun day together! Thank you to all of our parent chaperones who helped make the day run smoothly.
NYSSMA 2008
This year our NYSSMA solo festival was held at Guilderland HS on May 30th-31st. I would like to send my Congratulations to the following students who participated in this year's festival:

7th Grade: Ashley Blanchard, Andrew Pugliese, Julie Reilly, Tabitha Reutter, Derrick Warren

High School: Robert Patrignani, Marissa Schultz, Nate Greklek, Lawrence Chung, Gabrielle Beauregard, Cara Kohl, Aaron Blanchard, Nate Resila

  Music Festivals 2007-2008

 Suburban Council is for High School age students this year. The festival is being held 2/8-2/9 at Scotia-Glenville HS. Congratulations to the following High School students for their admission into this year's festival: Robert Patrignani, Lawrence Chung, Marissa Schultz and Aaron Blanchard.
Area All State is for all students in grade 10-12. Area All State is held November 16-17th at Saratoga Springs Senior High School. Congratulations to Robert Patrignani, Lawrence Chung and Marissa Schultz for being accepted  into this year's festival.
NYSSMA is a Solo Music Festival held once a year. This year's festival is on Friday, May 30th and Saturday, May 31st. All students interested in performing at NYSSMA should have already registered with Miss K. Please make arrangements to meet with Miss K prior to May to review your piece. 

Any students interested in joining Orchestra should see Miss K as soon as possible!
