Poster Project

 
You will create a poster that depicts a notable character from Ancient Greece. Before starting the poster, complete the treasure hunt in order to gain some background knowledge of Ancient Greece.
1. Where were the cities of Athens, Sparta, and Olympia
2. In what city was the Parthenon built?
3. During which century was it built?
4. Draw a quick sketch of the Parthenon.
5. During which time period did democracy develop in Ancient Greece? (Hint: This time period took place between 500 and 336 BC.)

9. Use Microsoft Word to create a poster that depicts that person's life. Follow the directions on your grading scale sheet.
