Notable Characters from Mesopotamia
Poster Project

 
You will create a poster that depicts a notable character from Mesopotamia. Before starting the poster, complete the treasure hunt in order to gain some background knowledge of Mesopotamia.

C Day and D Day Students: Skip items 1 through 3 today. We will get to them later. The link for items 9 and 10 was not working on Wednesday. If the link does not work, skip them. DO A GOOD JOB. See you next week :)

British Museum's Mesopotamia site
 
to collect at least 10 facts about Sumerian life. Create a poster as if you are a Sumerian citizen. 

 

Make sure that you identify the year that you are living in. Talk about who is ruling, inventions, etc. Convince the reader that you know about what it was like to live back then.

At the bottom of your poster you must cite your sources of information. Here are the citations:

If you use graphics, they must be properly cited. Each image citation tells the reader where you found the image and who it was created by. Your poster will lose points if any graphic does not have a citation.
