Notable Characters from Mesopotamia
Poster Project
 
You will create a poster that depicts a notable character from Mesopotamia. Before starting the poster, complete the treasure hunt in order to gain some background knowledge of Mesopotamia.

  11. What are the names of the twin rivers that bordered Mesopotamia?

 

 12. List three inventions of the Sumerians

Ancient Mesopotamia page 
and the 
British Museum's Mesopotamia site 
to collect at least 10 facts about Sumerian life. Create a poster as if you are a Sumerian citizen. 

 

Make sure that you identify the year that you are living in. Talk about who is ruling, inventions, etc. Convince the reader that you know about what it was like to live back then.

At the bottom of your poster you must cite your sources of information. Here are the citations:

Here is a link to some graphics. This link is only active during the week that we complete this project.

If you use graphics, they must be properly cited. Each image citation tells the reader where you found the image and who it was created by. Your poster will lose points if any graphic does not have a citation.
